‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ season 8: The cast, latest drama and more you need to know

The news on the street is that The Real Housewives Of Potomac is about to deliver another incredible season. Season 8 of the hit Bravo show wrapped filming in mid-July and one of the final episodes featured a massive physical fight between the women. If the outcome of the feud is anything like Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett’s Season 5 fight, the incident could have a huge impact on the dynamics between the cast.

Season 8 of RHOP will feature some of your favorite champagne holders from seasons past, as well as some new faces in the group. The season will begin after Robin Dixon lies to her co-stars about her husband Juan Dixon’s alleged cheating incident. Hey drama! Here below is everything you need to know about RHOP Season 8.

RHOP Season 8 Premiere Date

Bravo has not announced an official premiere date for RHOP Season 8. The show is expected to return in late autumn or early winter. Filming took place from April 2023 to July 2023. The cast’s tours reportedly took place in Austin, Texas, and the Dominican Republic.

RHOP Season 8 Cast

All seven main cast members from previous seasons are returning for RHOP Season 8. That means Giselle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robin Dixon, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Wendy Osefo and Mia Thornton will all be back on TV. Season 7 “Friends of” casts Charisse Jackson Jordan and Jacqueline Blake were both seen filming with the ladies during the season, but it is unclear whether or not they have returned in an official recurring capacity.

According to TVdits, the new season will feature two new cast members: Nneka Ihim, as a full-time cast member, and Keiana Stewart, as a “Friend of”.

Nneka is a licensed attorney specializing in financial technology and the owner of a champagne line. He is married to Dr. Ikena Ihim.

Keyanna is the owner of Stewart Beauty & Wellness based in Baltimore, Maryland. He was reportedly brought to the show by Wendy’s.

RHOP Season 8 Drama

There wasn’t any conversation about RHOP Season 8 during the entire filming – until a huge physical fight broke out on July 13. Artists in Washington D.C. for the launch of Ashley & Giselle’s fashion line K was in the Zebi Garden when the brawl happened. In the video, which can be seen below, Keiyanna and Ashley’s friend Deborah Williams are seen throwing their hands at each other and falling to the ground.

According to TV Deets, the dispute reportedly started between the Candianes and Deborah over the drama. “Deborah and Candias were talking dirty about each other all night. An insider told the outlet, “Candiace was talking to Deborah about what she was saying about [her husband] Chris [Bassett] and Kiana came over and involved herself.”

No arrests were made and no charges were filed at the time of the incident. However, a source claimed to Page Six that Kiana went to the hospital to receive treatment for her injuries. The insider also claimed that the Bravo cameras were on when the fierce fight started.

What The RHOP Cast Has Said About Season 8

Some of the RHOP cast members have revealed what fans can expect from Season 8. “You guys are in for an amazing season 8. It’s going to be a lot of sparkle and fireworks,” Wendy told Page Six on June 26. Wendy also added that the women “are not all BFFs” and confirmed that viewers would “get the insider’s insight on the fractures” within the group. “We work through it,” he said, “and you guys get a front row seat to that.”

Plus, Wendy confirmed that the Robin-Juan drama will be a hot topic in Season 8. Juan had a brief relationship with a woman prior to Season 7, which Robin did not reveal to the cast or audience until after it aired. Juan later lost his job as head basketball coach at Coppin State University, reportedly due to the ongoing lawsuit.

Wendy said of Robyn, “You know, it was eyebrow-raising because she often questions a lot of us.” He also said, “That was the biggest eyebrow-raising affair.” “So we have questions. We ask those questions this season. You guys will get to see his reaction.

Karen told Entertainment Tonight on June 25 that Robin “is back” for season 8. He also called the new season “fantastic” and said that “the girls are very dirty.” Karen continued, “It’s always nice to come to Grande Dame because they call me so cute but wouldn’t call themselves that either. But, you know, it’s a great show, it’s been a great opportunity.”
