(G)I-DLE to release first English single ‘I Do’ this week

(G)-IDLE is all set to release its first English single I Do. Queencard singers released the teaser of their upcoming song on 88Rising’s YouTube channel. Cube Entertainment, (G)-IDLE’s agency, has signed with 88Rising to produce the group’s debut English-language album Heat. (G)-IDLE is known for its powerful lyrics and unique music that represents women around the world. Fans are excited to see how her first English single will turn out.

K-pop girl group (G)-IDLE teased fans with their new song, which is all in English via 88Rising. The teaser for (G)-IDLE’s new song I Do hints at a very different style from their recent singles like Queencard, NXDE and Tomboy.

According to Billboard, one of the biggest K-pop companies, Cube Entertainment has joined hands with 88Rising, an American mass media company, to produce (G)-IDLE’s first English music single. 88Rising focuses on Asian music and is home to some of the most famous artists such as BB, Nicki, Jackson Wang, Atarashi Gakko and more. This is the first time for Cube Entertainment to produce a full-English album for its artist, the CEO of the agency also expressed his excitement about HEAT. Sean Miyaschario, founder and CEO of 88Rising, also revealed that the company has long been a fan of (G)-IDLE, especially because of how creatively involved the members are in their music. He also mentioned that (G)-IDLE are aware of what they want to do with their music and have a strong vision which is really important in the music making process. The two companies took a step by firmly believing in the members of (G)-IDLE and their leader Soyeon to make a collaboration album. (G)-IDLE’s I DO music video will be released on July 14th at 9am KST and the album HEAT will be available on September 7th, 2023.
